It has a ton of positioning adjustment, height, and extension options.And the sun shield bracket is a nice touch.I had no issues connecting my iPhone to it and using CarPlay.I was able to make a call, although I was told that it sounded like I was under water, not sure if that was just the call I made or a common thing with this device.Using both Apple and Google maps worked fine.And Amazon music worked through the built in speaker, it is clear enough for what it is and got loud enough to hear, although the quality of the speaker leaves a lot to be desired.It comes with a few setting options to adjust and play with like sound (EQ), the screen display, and device connectivity. But I found that I didn't have to mess with anything really to use it right out of the box.The screen quality is ok, it's clear and bright enough, and colors are good.But I'm confused why the 1024x600 resolution is listed as “HD” in the pictures and “Full HD” in the details though. It's good quality, but not HD.Something I did notice, which may help others… if you don't have sound make sure the FM reception icon in the top bar is not white (active). This is a wonderful addition to my car. It mounts very easy, has a nice big screen, and hooks to my phone. When someone calls or texts it comes across my screen. I high suggest this product

This Android Auto device works well, but it took some effort to get there. For a while, I thought I had gotten a defective unit and was about to exchange it for another one.The biggest issue is that the unit only works when powered from a car cigarette lighter socket, using the included power adapter. The power port on the unit is labeled USB-C and it's a USB-C socket, but the unit wouldn't work correctly when I tried to power it using three different USB power sources and three different cables. It would either not power on at all, would not astart Android Auto, or would work but the speaker would emit a constant screeching noise.Issue number 2 is that the instructions are pretty poor. They tell you how to make the initial blue tooth connection, but not much more. If, as in my case, the unit doesn't seem to work correctly, the instructions are of no help. A second instruction leaflet tells how to use the suction cup mount, but there's no mention anywhere of what another included bracket is for.All of that aside, this works fine using the included power adapter in my car. I only tested Android Auto navigation, and it works just like the onboard Android Auto in my newer car.

I installed this CarPlay and Android Auto screen on my UTV and it has made navigating so much easier. I can connect it to my phone and see maps, make calls, send messages, and listen to music all while keeping my hands on the wheel. Using voice commands with Siri or Google Assistant makes it even safer when I am out on the trails.The seven inch touch screen is bright and clear, even in direct sunlight, and it was very simple to attach to my dash. It also looks good mounted up. I mainly use it to pair with my Google maps to keep me from ending up on a news station with a missing alert. It also handles music and radio apps smoothly. Overall it feels solid, works reliably, and makes my rides more convenient and enjoyable. I believe it is a solid value for what you get.

I plan on using this for our car that my teen uses. I have Android and she has Apple. Perfect way for both of us to easily access the many functions of this smart screen! Love that even if we sell the car, we can take the screen with us and put it in the next car if needed, and access gps, music streaming, etc. Its lightweight, but well made. Will update functionality, once I get it installed!

This is an awesome device. It allows you to connect to Apple CarPlay, or android audio super simple. You basically click the button to pair it and on your phone you will pair it with Bluetooth and accept the pairing code and then it streams to the screen effortlessly.This is a great deal for the money one of the better electronic devices priced anywhere this low that I've seen on Amazon. I'm actually shocked at how low this is priced. I plan on buying a couple more for my other older vehicles to add the Apple CarPlay feature. This is great as you can use the map apps. You also can use other apps if you're familiar with Apple CarPlay, such as SiriusXM, Amazon music/Alexa as well as other apps.Note that this does come with an auxiliary cord that's about 3 feet long. Also, it comes with the AC adapter.It works great. I have tested it with several phones and all connect super quick super easily. I will also add that the suction cup comes with a small little plastic base with a sticky side on it. If you choose to use that little base, you can stick it onto your dashboard and it holds very well and then you placed the suction cup into that base and it holds much better than the suction cup would on the dashboard itself. Installation is incredibly easy—no wiring or complicated setup required—just plug it in, mount it, and go. The touchscreen is responsive and clear, offering seamless access to CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and voice assistants. Features like Mirror Link, AirPlay, FM/AUX, and hands-free calling make it a fantastic value.

This unit connected with my iPhone quickly and easily. The touch screen is bright and clear (amazing for this price point), and responsive. All the Apple carplay icons appeared in good resolution, although not all of them would function. This is a limitation of CarPlay, though, and not a fault with the screen. The only difficulty I had was getting it to work with Screen Mirroring. It simply refused to work with my iPhone 16, but I don't consider that to be much of a problem, as the apps appeared to work as they should. The screen picks up fingerprints and could be prone to scratches, so careful and regular cleaning with a microfiber cloth would be recommended. The mounting system is suction cup based and fully adjustable, although I would have liked to see a RAM ball-mount option available. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the unit and find it a bargain compared to others on the market, especially when you view the brightness and clarity on the screen.

Portable Touchscreen NavigationIt took me a while to figure out how to get this working to my satisfaction, but that is primarily user error, not the product.I ordered this because I like having navigation information running while I drive, but my phone screen was just too small.For the price tag, this unit does a great job of filling my requirement. First of all, it does not have a power source of its own. This must be plugged into my car 12v outlet at all times. It basically does what my phone does, although it does not mirror it (and I was unsuccessful at figuring out how to actually mirror).It also is designed to work with a variety of car systems. My 2012 Honda Odyssey has Bluetooth capability, but not the later stuff, so I was able to get my phone calls still go through the cars' handsfree system.Finally, I got the screen to show and control the connection to Amazon Music on my phone, and now it does everything I want it to do.One star for the poor set up documentation, but otherwise I recommend this product if it meets your situation.Once I finally realized that there is a separate icon to push to use Google maps

For the price, this can't be beat! This essentially upgrades the your car's screen to a touchscreen tablet so that you have quick, direct, tactile manipulation of your phone's apps via a larger touchscreen than your phone. This on its own is amazing as my vehicle's screen is not even touchscreen capable. While I can appreciate the digital interface tremendously, using this in car is a bit clunky for me for the following reasons:MOUNT: I am disappointed that the mount that came with my screen did not include a locker tab to ensure the stability of the suction. The locker adjustment is shown on the installation instructions, but the included mount seems to be different. The suction at the interface of the dashboard to the mount was minimal and I am not able to take advantage of the spring loaded inside the suction cup. For this reason, the mount would simply not remain affixed to the dashboard, rendering the touchscreen unusable. The touchscreen does not stand mounted on its own.SPEAKERS: The only way to get the sound to the car's speakers using this device is to connect this touchscreen to your car's AUX port. The AUX cable is included. But, unfortunately for me, my BMW's AUX port is not on the center stack. It's inside the armrest compartment!
